Mariano Iúdica explains the spitting incident

Buenos Aires, March 10 (NA) – Mariano Iúdica explained what happened during the streaming show during an interview with Matías Bottero called 'Between two succulents', where the host ended up spitting on the interviewer.

According to what Argentine News Agency learned, the moment occurred when Bottero approached to inspect his teeth, in line with the uncomfortable and provocative style that characterizes the program's format.

At that moment, Iúdica responded by spitting in his face, a reaction that surprised both those present in the studio and the users who later saw the viral clip on social networks.

Despite what happened, Bottero remained calm and took it with humor, while asking for a napkin to wipe himself off, he threw an ironic comment: 'Napkin, Pulga'.

Iúdica also admitted that it was a challenge from his youngest son, who loves Bottero and told him, 'I bet you don't go, you coward, you're not going to go'.

However, he acknowledged that from the beginning he felt out of place, as the show's climate was not familiar to him: 'I knew it had nothing to do with me, that it's not my world; we don't operate there, just as they don't interfere in ours'.

In addition, he recounted that his own son Salvador later reprimanded him for his reaction and reminded him that the show's format is precisely based on that type of uncomfortable humor.

Attempting to describe how he experienced that moment, Iúdica stated that he felt disoriented during the recording: 'It's like being with idiots in a get-together, that is, it's evident that I shouldn't have been there'.

Anyway, he clarified that black humor is not foreign to him: 'It's a black humor program, black humor has saved my life. In my house, a lot of black humor was played after all the misfortunes that have happened to us', he affirmed.

According to what he explained, there was a specific comment that affected him emotionally and triggered his reaction: 'When I heard the phrase 'adopted son' everything went blurry for me, I entered another dynamic', he confessed, referring to the phrase that made him lose control during the interview.

Finally, he stated: 'I am very proud of myself, because at another moment I would have punched him'.

'Brad Pitt spat on fatso Zach Galifianakis; on me, Mariano Iúdica', he said, in reference to the well-known humorous program 'Between Two Ferns'.

After the repercussion that the scene generated, Iúdica decided to give his version of the events in 'Desayuno Americano'.

During the chat, the host explained that he accepted the invitation knowing in advance the type of humor of the program: 'I knew where I was going, I knew where I was going, I had it clear. I can't believe it'.
